The figures, in context
Our published comparison brings together website offers with public fees and descriptions of what they cover. The source checks were recorded on 23 and 24 October 2026. The chart below uses those saved advertised prices, alongside Pointed’s £595 Standard website.
Pointed is priced below every advertised offer included in this comparison. We want the difference to be easy to see, and we want a prospective customer to understand what they’re buying before committing to a build.

Start with the pages and the work behind them
A five-page website can describe very different pieces of work. The page count alone doesn’t tell you whether the price covers supplied text, writing, image selection, content migration or a complicated booking system. It also doesn’t tell you how many reviews are included.
Pointed’s Standard scope includes up to five bespoke marketing pages, 2,500 supplied words and 25 supplied images, an enquiry form and two consolidated revision rounds. Privacy and terms pages don’t use the page allowance. The design follows the agreed brief.
That is a useful basis for a straightforward business website. Shops, custom booking systems and other application features need their own specification. We’d rather agree that detail than let a low headline figure imply work that hasn’t been priced.
Look beyond launch day
A website needs an owner after it goes live. Ask who will update the work examples, replace outdated images and change the service details when the business moves on. Hosting keeps the files available; content management is an additional responsibility.
Pointed offers optional ongoing plans with agreed deliverables, including hosting. Self-managed handover is included if you prefer to arrange hosting and manage the site yourself. Those are different ways of looking after the finished work, and the choice should be clear before you start.

How to read this study
This is a comparison of the published offers in our research file, rather than a representative survey of the whole UK market. It is useful for seeing how our fee sits alongside those offers. It cannot establish that every supplier provides equivalent work.
The mean is calculated from the ten recorded advertised fees. Figures retain the suppliers’ stated tax basis; inclusions, recurring charges and starting-price conditions differ. Prices may have changed since the source checks. Each saved source link is available below.
We display rounded pounds for readability. The underlying calculation is retained at its original precision, so rounding the comparison and the difference separately can produce a one-pound visual discrepancy.
See the direction before deciding
For a business considering Pointed, the next useful step is a free homepage preview. It gives us a chance to explore a direction around your brief before you decide whether to commission the paid website.
Enquire by email, WhatsApp or our short enquiry form. We agree the scope and price with you before you pay by Stripe invoice. Project payments are half to start and half on approved delivery, before launch or handover. That turns the comparison into a concrete decision about your own business.
